Description :
Apearances: The white crystalline powder. Easy to absorb moisture in the air stability, decomposition without melting in vacuo to about 500 ℃. The oxidation reaction of sodium borohydride is low, and is also more stable to heat. Soluble in water and slowly decomposed to release hydrogen. Melt in liquid ammonia, slightly soluble in methanol and ethanol, almost insoluble in ether, benzene, tetrahydrofuran, ether and other hydrocarbons. Alkali solution stability. The case of acid decomposition produce hydrogen.
USES :
Used as aldehydes, ketones and chloride reductant for the pharmaceutical, modified cellulose, pulp bleaching.
