Description :
Apearances: Matt orthorhombic crystalline powder. Has a strong smell of ammonia. Generally not without water and salt, and industrial products is actually a complex salt of ammonium bicarbonate and ammonium carbamate. Ammonia-containing 31%, 56% carbon dioxide. Soluble in water, insoluble in ethanol, carbon disulfide, and concentrated ammonia. Unstable in air and will gradually become ammonium bicarbonate and ammonium carbamate. The dried product is very easily decomposed at 58 ℃ release ammonia and carbon dioxide. Aqueous solution at 70 ℃ begins to decompose. Light and heat are unstable. Slightly hygroscopic.
USES :
Used as baking powder, the raw
materials of various ammonium salts, buffers, auxiliaries, fertilizers and
