Description :
Apearances: White powder. Toxic. Was dissolved in dilute hydrochloric acid, dilute nitric acid, acetic acid, ammonium chloride solution, and an ammonium sulfate solution, slightly soluble in water containing carbon dioxide, and water insoluble. Decomposition of barium oxide and carbon dioxide at about 1300 ℃.
USES :
Analysis of iron, calcium, magnesium, manganese, and zinc. Verification and determination of halogens in organic compounds. The separation of aluminum. Catalyst. Optical glass. Of oil bleaching chemical operations neutralizer.
