USES :

Dysprosium Carbonate is a water insoluble Dysprosium source that can easily be converted to other Dysprosium compounds, such as the oxide by heating (calcination). Carbonate compounds also give off carbon dioxide when treated with dilute acids. Dysprosium is added to various advanced optical formulations due to the fact that it emits in the 470-500 and 570-600 nm wavelengths and is an essential additive in NdFeB magnets.Dysprosium Carbonate is generally immediately available in most volumes. Ultra high purity and high purity compositions improve both optical quality and usefulness as scientific standards.
