Description :

Pale yellow crystal or powder. No smell. See the light color darker. In 220 a saturated sodium chloride and 35 a saturated potassium bromide solution, soluble in potassium cyanide solution fluid, concentrated ammonia water, slightly soluble in ammonium carbonate solution, sodium thiosulfate, potassium thiocyanate solution and dilute ammonia solution, insoluble in water, ethanol and most acids. Relative density (d254) 6.473. Melting point 432 ℃. Boiling point 700 ℃ (breakdown). Refraction rate 2.253.

USES :

Used for analysis reagent, used to make photographic film and sensitive paper.
