Description :

Palm to palm black amorphous powder or cubic crystal system. Crystal density 8.15 g/cm3. Amorphous powder density 0.95 g/cm3. Melting point 1426 ℃ above. Soluble in dilute acid, aqueous ammonia and ammonium salt solution, insoluble in water and alkali. The air absorb carbon dioxide put into cadmium carbonate, color gradually become white. Chlorine gas flow heating into cadmium chloride. Heated to 300 ℃, by hydrogen reduction into metal cadmium.

USES :

Inorganic industry used in producing all kinds of cadmium salt. Organic synthesis used in the manufacture of push north agent. Electroplating industry used to configure the copper plating solution. Battery industry used in the manufacture of battery electrode. Pigment industry used in the manufacture of cadmium pigments, used in paint, glass, porcelain enamel and pottery in the glaze. Metallurgical industry used in the manufacture of various alloy such as hard steel alloy, printing alloy, etc.
