Description :
Red to dark red monoclinic crystal; Purple monoclinic crystal, density: 1.924 g/cm3, melting point 86 ℃, easy deliquescence, at room temperature stability, encounter heat to become blue, in damp air cooling and become red, soluble in water, alcohol, ether, acetone and glycerin, lose water of crystallization to blue powder without water content.
USES :
1.The main purpose is to making cobalt oxide and cobalt metal for alloy materials, electronic materials for making a barometer, hydrometer, invisible ink, and so on. Cobalt chloride test paper in dry is blue, damp into pink. Silica gel to add a certain amount of cobalt chloride, indicating silica gel of hygroscopic degree, often used in dry storage.2. Used for paint driers, military gas and ammonia absorption agent, beer foam stabilizer, color silica gel drying indicator, glass and ceramic stain, etc.3. As feed nutrition enhancer. Used in electroplating. Used for glass and ceramic stain, paint driers, ammonia absorption agent. Manufacturing cobalt catalyst, manufacturing color silica gel dry wet indicator. Manufacturing invisible ink. Used as beer foam stabilizer. Animal husbandry made compound feed, as cobalt supplements.
