Description :
The appearance is claybank or orange yellow
crystalline cake. Easy deliquescence. Slight hydrochloric acid smell.Soluble in
water (250 g / 100 ml), ethanol, acetone, ethyl ether, its aqueous solution is
acid, can make the protein solidification.Melting point about 37 ℃; D 1.82.
LD50 mice intravenous: 0.049 mg Fe/g.
USES :
Analysis reagent, determination of arsenic, lithium, tin, selenium, vanadium, thiocyanate, iron cyanate and serum total cholesterol, industry used for photographic plate making, pigment and catalyst, antioxidant.
