Description :
Black brown hexagonal system
crystallization. In the transmitted light is pomegranate red, reflected light
line is metallic green. Soluble in water, methanol, ethanol, acetone and ethyl
ether. Soluble in liquid sulphur dioxide, phosphorus tribromide, acetone oxygen
p, ethylamine, aniline, slightly soluble in carbon disulfide, insoluble in
glycerin. Melting point 304 ° C (lit).
USES :
Mainly used for industrial water treatment, photographing and printing process of caustic, organic synthetic industrial catalyst, antioxidant, dye industry antioxidant and mordant manufacturing other lron, paint, ink, pharmaceutical raw materials, etc.
