Apearances: White powder or crystalline. Melting point 880 ℃. Density 2.534g/cm3. Insoluble in water. Insoluble in alcohol. Its alkaline solution. The aqueous solution is still stable at 70 ℃ boiling hydrolysis into disodium hydrogen phosphate. With alkaline earth metal ions capable of forming complexes with Ag + encounter generate white silver pyrophosphate. Deliquescent.
